Anybody got any idea how the medical is going? No tweets of photos of him outside the stadium today, there's usually a bit of a buzz when a new player is arriving.

 

Maybe he went out for lunch....

 

I know from an really reliable source (only Alams, Bruce, Thompson and Austin himself more ITK) that he has agreed a 3 year deal and is about to undergo a medical

 

Maybe the club insist any future signings bring a pack up and eat in on the pitch

 

If that's true then you've probably just got that person fired. Well done! Unless it was Austin's agent?

Not yet and it Looks like it could be Austin staying put afterall IF the medical has been a negative for Hull City ?

If it is the shoulder then it's interesting that Burnley fans on their Mad forum flagged it up as a potential issue all along. There was even a thread 'what if his shoulder fails the medical?'.

 

You can have a simple op to stop a shoulder dislocating. I know someone who had it done, got to be more too it than that.

I hope it's Rhodes or Odemwingie.

 

I hope it's Rhodes, but can't see it happening unfortunately. I reckon Odemwingie will go to Palace.

 

I'd love to know why the Hooper deal is dead. All I can think is that it is wages.

Must say I thought at the beginning of the Summer that we would end up with one of Rhodes, Hooper or Austin. As Steve Bruce said, feeling a bit frustrated now as probably none of them are going to happen. (This will be exacerbated if Palace sign Odemwinge!!)

 

Like it says in the article "We've got other irons in the fire and we hope that we can get one or two strikers in before the start of the season".
I would have thought that rather than be made to pay more now that we just move on to other targets.
