I see the gang has a new member and he's trying to win his spurs.

"Dai is a Liverpool fan end of".

No he's not,so you'll get an argument from me "about it".

"someone who goes out of his way to cause trouble on this board and insult posters".

That sounds like your pen picture Dill. Full marks are in order for your candid awareness.

Hell man, this is getting ridiculous guys! I remember this Hereford friendly when Dai was giving it big, but hell you couldn't take him seriously, unless you were the 'dross', matter of fact, I think I got caught in some crossfire, when I laughed at Hereford scoring, we were that bad, but there you go, there were a few very upset at it all, whatever floats your boat I suppose, I think Jinx was to blame for that game with Hereford.................................<laugh>

I dont mind plenty of midfielders. Options in the midfield are important and they are the most versatile players in a team which both Swansea and a certain catalan club are fine examples of.

And when you hit that fine tuned perfect assembled midfield trio it is worth its weight in gold.

    Bring 'em in ;)

He did want the swans to lose, so that it would put Jenkins under further pressure to go, at the time Jenkins made quit a few blunders, and we had gone into pre-season with no manager, no striker, and it showed when Hereford thumped us 2-0??..... Not everyone thinks that Jenkins is the best thing since sliced bread, as Gendros clearly does. and when scfcjack did a thread with the sum total of WTF All I did was laugh, and that was enough for Gendros to twist things, and attempt to make out that I had 'wanted the Swans to lose' it was nothing but a fabrication by Gendros, who doesn't like my candid criticism of Huw Jenkins from time to time.

By the way Dai wanted Jenkins out at the time, as he is well known for every know and then, and it's his view and opinion that I respect but don't agree completely with, the way I see it is Jenkins and the board, have done a terrific job over the last ten years, but from time to time he makes some ridiculous gaffs, which I reserve the right to criticise him on, and will always continue to do! By the way Dai's wanting the Swans to lose was only a means to an end to get Jenkins out, and that's why, I know Dai really doesn't want to see his team lose ever, contrary to the tripe that Gendros is spouting! Dai is more of a Jack than Gendros could ever be.....................<ok>

I think we could do with a couple more.

We play 5 MF's at a time, add that we will be playing two games for every week we remain in Europe, plus FA cup plus defense of the leagu cup, we could end up playing 3 games some weeks.

Still need cover at full back imo.

The problem with that is Jenkins doesn't make the decisions alone, these come through the board. So by saying Jenkins out by extension you are saying the board out. But that is never going to happen as between them they own 80% of the club.

The only they'd go is if they sell up to someone like Abromovich , and if they did that I think I'd go as well as I don't want to be part of a circus show. If anyone wants the Abromovich (or similar) road show you're nuts

I wouldn't mind a solid backup for Britton and Canas. If one of them gets an injury that goes on for months it's a bit worrying.

I think the AM is covered with Michu, Pozuelo and SHelvey.

Spot on, and it's why I can't agree with Dai over his calling for Huw to go, as clearly the board make the decisions, and sometimes Dia forgets this, though I must admit that Jenkins can be one frustrating character on times!.................<ok>

Being cautious Dragon, maybe a bit belt and braces.

If things go well, we'll have a lot of games to get through so, I'm concerned about wear and tear; injuries on Thursday nights then having to play again Sunday.

I'd like to see additions to our defense, FB, CB, now Tiendalli has gone, but I'm probably being greedy buddy. <ok>

DM - Britton / Canas (ki / jdg can do it, although its not their favoured position)
AM - JDG / Ki / Shelvey / Michu / Pozuelo / Hernandez - don't need any more cover for the AM role
Wingers - Hernandez / Routledge / Dyer - Id like to see 1 other winger, although Shelvey could be used, as could Pozuelo i guess.

absolutely agree, defenders and strikers are specialists in their position while midfielders are more adaptable and some can defend and some can take the strikers role as michu does. also they are the battlers who tend to get injured the most and if you have a weak midfield then the defenders work much harder and they get more injuries, I like to see one more midfielder who is beefy and tall added to the squad as i dont think we have enough muscle there at the moment....Over the last few seasons we have missed a really good striker and again i would like another to partner bony (assuming its done and dusted that he has signed) so depending on the opposition we can play one or two up front.....
