Only did it to get the thread out early so we have a match to talk about. Can't be bothered to do match threads for a whole season, it was effort to do this one and I knocked it up in about 5 minutes, I reckon SJD should be the man to do them anyhow as he has a majestic way of typing . Anyhow, I got bigger and better things planned for the coming season. I'm not going to give to much away because I want to keep you all keen.
I went to the FA Cup match we played against them a few years back and we had a good time... Though, one of the 'local' fans tried to wind the Liverpool fans up when he took his jacket off to reveal a manc top on underneath it...!!! He started trying to goad a few of the Liverpool fans in the corner of the Shankly stand and got ejected very quickly by the Preston stewards... I live in the area and i always say, and my mates too, that the Preston fans are manc fans in disguise...!!! And trust me it dosnt half get em going as well... Mention Becks to them and there eyes light up... Now moysee has gone to sold trafford they will definitely be trying to get at us this weekend, trust me. Nothing nasty, but there will be a few in trying it on... All in good taste and manners mind, that's what banter should be about... A few of my mates are going, and it will be a good day if the weather stays as it is, hot, hot, hot...!!! Beer drinking weather... The Summners, just past the ground, right next to a Sainsburys is the pub where most will meet up. I wouldn't bother too much with staying in the town bit, but as its a 3pm kick-off you will plenty of time after the match to have a drink also... Have a good trip if your going, if not, dont worry too much the season is only just around the corner...
Referring back to this players very rarely play 45 minutes in the first game, I also would expect players like Johnson, Enrique, Skrtel, Agger etc. Will be there. Also I'm fairly sure some of the players have gone out on loan.

I think we need two 'big signings' - i.e. 2 players who can come straight into the first team and expected to deliver from the get go. My money would be on Eriksen and Alderweirald.
It's his first day back after a week off. I phoned him, but he's probably snowed-under with catching up.
