Figures are meaningless in today's transfer dealings, no one is worth those amounts for kicking a bag of wind about and that's not including the wages they are getting. I wouldn't put Suarez in the world class bracket. He's good but not world class. A lot of the time he turns one way and then another and barely looks like he has the ball under control. He dives constantly and doesn't half miss some sitters.

Call my cynical but this smacks of desperation by Arsenal to appear ambitious and willing to spend. The whole reason Suarez wants to leave Liverpool is to leave England, I really dont think there is any debate on that. So why would he sign for another English club? I suspect if any team in Spain or PSG and any English team had a fee agreed then he would always chose the foreign option. No debate about it. His career record is exceptional to date. Not to mention the assists, which have occurred whilst playing in a fairly **** team. He has carried Liverpool over the last few seasons. If he appeared for a Real Madrid/Barcelona/Bayern/ Manchester United - his goal scoring ratio and assist ratio would likely improve.
