Agreed I think we will use the loan market more this season as come the end of the season if we dont go up we can easily cut the budget to get in line with FFP I think Michael Keane would be back here, I wouldnt completely rule out Man U selling him
Moyes might be open to him coming back on loan, it was Ferguson who didn't like them going back to other clubs. No chance in hell of signing him, he'll play for Manchester United at some point.
To be honest im not. He has never played in the prem and at the age of 28/29 that will put people off paying what we would want for him. Wes at Forest had a reputation of being a good defender but he was slow and error prone. Last pre season Wes came back in the shape of his life. His pace for his size is superb. He has lost all the body fat on him aswell. None of our best players will be moving to championship clubs because of FFP there wont be able to afford them. Same goes for us buying players from this league. Take you lot for example, you could have got Wes off us for around 3-4M or you could have throw some cash at Birmingham and nicked Curtis Davies for 2M because they need money and we dont.
One last thing Carmine after last season your voodoo campaign against Matty James was the making of him Who are you going to write off this season?
De Laet. If you put a long brown wig on him he'd look like Gail Platt. That rhymes. Might be a song in there somewhere.
Nigel says he's not for sale, in his usual blunt manner... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23203169
Cardiff rumoured to have bid £2 million for Wes - admittedly it's from First4Bollox so treat with a certain amount of scepticism ... although if I were them (cardiff) I'd be sniffing ... but would need double that for us to even bother thinking about ... http://first4lcfc.blogspot.co.uk/20...ed&utm_campaign=Feed: First4lcfc (first4lcfc)
Yeah, good thing about finances is that players like Wes wont be on massive FFP rocking wages, therefore they would haveto meet our asking price.
