How much money can you get on Cardiff doing the double over Swansea? :)

We finished the season crap, but our defence improved massively and we have money to spend, as well as no key players leaving us in the summer. Everyone scraped survival, it was a very close division and if you lost Michu and your manager gets tempted elsewhere (unlikely at the moment) then you're in real trouble!

The club have commissioned the same architects that designed the redevelopment of the training ground to come up with designs to expand St Mary's and develop the land around the site.

The problem around SMS is more the responsibility of the council not Saints.
A lot of the St Mary's needed levelling 20yrs ago and it hasn't improved since

Hang on a minute there are some important buildings in that area. Many are listed and are an important part of our City's heritage.

    Please read my posting above.

I read somewhere that we can build on all three sides, just not above the exec boxes. So maybe 5k on the Chapel and Northam and 8k on the Kingsland. That would make it 50K or there abouts.

If this were to be done then a great deal of investment would be needed in the local infrastructure including public transport links and possibly a new railway station (or even a replacement as I remember the old Northam Station).

If we did expand to 50,000, can you imagine what the atmosphere will be like when all our new fans from Surrey, North Hampshire, Royal Berkshire & Asia descend on St Mary's to have a jolly nice clap & sing along. Awesome.

I don't see why we couldn't develop a new park and ride system similar to what is used in Winchester. A combination of buses, coaches and a new train station next to the stadium. A total redevelopment of the river side area would be a great improvement. I would be happy with 50,000 capacity, there will always be a way to expand again or relocate at a later date if this was not big enough.

After my experiences of working with them I thought your evaluation was very polite.
