To be fair though Cook, Trott and KP have much better opportunities to help their averages than Bell does, which is why I rarely put much weight behind averages, especially for those who bat different positions. Bell definitely has the most work to do though, but the management also has to figure out how to use him most effectively, personally think he should go back down to 6 really.

He was on Sky today, being interviewed prior to the Durham-Notts game (currently out injured with a thumb injury). I hope you weren't watching then, as they did discuss his international career and what it would feel like for him watching the Ashes as a spectator now.
