We seem to lurch from insane over-expectations to needless despondency depending on which daft rumour we heard last.
It's funny in an odd way.

 

We've got some interest in him going back a few years it seems. Though I highly doubt hes coming here.

 

If Eriksen joins us, we will win the PL. If he doesn't we will be relegated. Very thin line.

 

Eriksen is one of the biggest prospects in Europe - true. However, he is quite inconsistent which is why teams are a little reluctant to sign him. HM is a more established player who is reaching his peak. In addition, HM is a player we need more because not only does he possess the technical ability, he is hard working and scores goals. As good as Eriksen is, he doesn't possess the goal scoring ability or work ethic that Rodgers requires.

However, having said that, I think of a lot of players who are worse to sign than Eriksen
