    Jesus, the telly is on in the background and Emmerdale (when did they drop the "farm". Absolutely pathetic acting. I remember a time when TV was quality in this country.

    Now it's just banal drivel.

    Does anyone know if Corrie or Eastenders are on tonight?

    Corrie is on 9pm everynight this week I think. And the new Emmerdale opening credits are awful, It starts as if it's a car commercial!

    I used to love Space 1999 when I were a young lad.

    How wonderful the future looked back in the 70s and how ****e it's turned out. Where are the holidays on the moon? The hover cars? the Teleporters?

    According to Arthur C Clarke we should have made contact with aliens by now and have a second sun!

    Sir Arthur Conan Doyle promised us that he would come back and tell us if there wa an afterlife. Not heard a peep from him but maybe he has been banned from returning.

    So that proves nothing either way to be honest,

    I think the opening scenes showed somebody who had just died! It started off on a miserable note and NOTHING has changed!
