Oh god it bad this year. It makes doubley worse wearing contact lenses, I've lost three in the last week and had to go back to glasses. I had no problems with it until I was 23, now I get it every summer I must of tried everything from over the counter. Anyone got any tips?
I only suffer from hay fever - never been as cool as this https://encrypted-tbn3.gstatic.com/...2wy0Aa7fyYy6VMHWQOeXOCMdKkTqnZ3pkShMei3I0eYPQ ( SORRY ) In all seriousness I've had it really bad - grown out of a lot of it - I think death should clear it up
Its Hay not Hey and stay off the beer, a pint feels like a good idea to sooth the sore throat but it contains histamine and you need anti-histamine.
Flixonase nasal spray. I get it seriously bad, and that particular nasal spray is like magic. It's the Chuck Norris of hayfever.
I don't believe in it, it's made up by people to seek attention. "Oo, look at me, I'm scared of flowers".
*I know its Hay and not Hey, but you know what smartphones are like. Thanks for the suggestions I'll look into them. I use to take the mick out of people with Hay Fever, but its seriously head doing. I dread summer now.
Prevalin Allergy spray up the hooter works wonders- I was using Antihistamines and eye drops and still sneezing, streaming eyes and generally just miserable, the Mrs picked up some of this stuff and it works a treat!
See your doctor. Seriously. You need to be on a course of tablets, ideally before the season starts, and you have got to STAY ON THEM! They build your immunity up and keep it up. Stop taking the tablets and you'll be fooked. Get some eye drops and nasal spray if you're still bad. Your doc may give you an injection if its a certain type of hay fever. Other than that, locally produced honey is meant to be good. Eaten, not spread in your eyes btw I feel your pain. I used to be of the "oh stfu, you've got a minor cold you woman" camp, then when I started with it, I was like "Omg this is HELL, its like constantly being surrounded by CS gas, but worse". Luckily I don't get it as severe these days, but yeah, medication is your friend. Good luck!
I think I have hey fever. Ozzie's love to say hey all the time - I catch myself saying hey all the ****ing time...
I use Beconase spray which seems to work for me. The missus got some nasal spray and eye drops prescribed by the quacks as she gets it worse than me. And even though she gets horrendous hay fever she moans that I don't buy her flowers. I'm doing her a favour. Women
Do you think people in Flanders trenches in WWI complained about Hay Fever? "Sarge, I cant go over the top today. There's some flowers over there."
i saw on the news last month it was predicted to be really bad this summer as a later spring would cause more of the pollen to be in the air at the same time , there were other reasons too on this BBC feature about why **** springs are bad , i remember this one coz its annoying listening to my inlaws sneeze like crazy from June to October :/
Assume you have seen your doctor to have an allergy test. Might not be Hay Fever, could be allergic to grasses and trees and need to be on Fexofenadine tablets.
I take anti histamine all year round. When the grass gets its first cut, I start. My biggest problem is not my eyes, it is that I get drowsy. My missus now knows that It's not me being lazy. I would also recommend not eating chilli.
I've been getting hay-fever every year for as long as I remember. I always dose up on anti-histamine etc. and nothing seems to work. The other half works in a pharmacy and recommended one of these nasal sprays. When the damn stuff doesn't come straight back out again it works a treat
