Am I right in thinking he can cover left-wing and even left-back as well as be a tough tackling option in the centre of the park? ....and he top scored at the last African cup of nations. Sounds very useful, very useful indeed. £4 million.
He does look a handful ,we're certainly being spoiled for choice in the middle of the park. taken from P Swans Hi all, I am an ex-pat who lives in Spain and supports Elche, Wakaso's first club outside of Ghana and I was surprised to see him linked with Swansea since the Spanish press had him down for Juventus last month. Firstly, I should say that he is NOT a winger. He is a central midfield player who, because he is left-footed and quick across the ground, often gets put out onto the left side. At Elche he was a big crowd favourite. His problem has always been his crunching, often reckless tackling which gave him numerous yellow and red cards over here. There would always be a collective holding of breath every time he went for the ball. Even as an 18 year old he could make grown men wince. His departure from Elche for Villarreal is a bizarre story that would take a whole new post to try and explain. I've always thought that due to his physicality he would be better suited to the English game. Technically he is a very good player and versatile, and he had a great season at Espanyol of course. Good luck to Wakaso if he turns up, and good luck to Swansea.
once again I await with baited breath, would he take over the madman role from Chico (card wise I mean)
