BBC Radio 4 are running a 'trailer' kind of thing - asking listeners to send in their favourite 8 records, to accompany them when cast away on the proverbial 'Desert Island'. I'd definitely include the Beatles' "I Saw Her Standing There", Bob Marley's "Redemption Song", Neil Young's "Helpless", Marvin Gaye's "Heard It Through The Grapevine", Joni Mitchell's "A Taste Of You", and on and on.........to be honest, I'd have trouble sticking to eight songs! What records would you take?
