According to WLS Swansea might be about to offer him another chance in the PL. Don't think he deserves it but he might fit in with the Swans ethos. Think he'd get hammered in the Championship.
Would be a good fit I reckon. So disappointed with how he turned out for us especially after looking like a star in his first couple of games.
Hes be perfect for them as they play at a snails pace, he will end up with a xavi like pass ratio with 99.99 to the back 4.
This would be the Swansea who put 8 or 9 past us last year, won the League Cup and friends and admirers from all over? Good luck to him if he goes there, suspect we will see what a good player he is in a team with a philosophy and style.
Michael Laudrup's proved he's no slouch when it comes to signings, and I think we all know we saw about 20% of what Granero has to offer last season. I'd be fascinated to see how he does if the Swans take him
I may have got the wrong end of the stick here Stan, but from a few things you've said of late I'm not sure you rate our manager too highly.
Well you obviously hate them and their style of football, and that's your right, but I'd swap our last two seasons for theirs in a heartbeat and be delighted to see a team prepared to keep the ball, work for each other and score goals. Really couldn't care less about years ago.
To be fair to him Spurs played good football, but I doubt our Harold has a philosophy beyond 'a big'un and a little'un up front'. If it gets us promoted next year without having to break the bank again next summer, great and good for him. I'll shut up about him soon, I've calmed down a bit over the last couple of weeks.
Would you swap winning the championship for it? I wouldnt swap that season for mid table mediocrity in the PL. We were awful since we got Hughes but they were the worst team to watch under Rodgers. The most boring team Ive ever seen since the Liverpool of the 80s. They wouldnt have crossed the halfway line if backpasses were allowed.
The object of football is to win stuff. Weve won stuff in the last 3 years, they havent. Ask a Swansea fan if theyd rather finish 7th or 15th and win the FA cup and I know what the answer would be,
