The forgotten man has returned to pre season training with the rest of the lads. Does anybody think he can play a major role for us next season?
Got a feeling he will not play for us again lads shame as he was looking good just before he got injured but, that's what you get when you buy known crocks. As for any other role at the club why not as a coach? before his injuries he had a few good seasons at Man U in CL and PL.
Can't be playing o'shea and brown in the same team. Chronic lack of pace. Plus bringing in new centre backs would limit him. However great back up or ahead of O'shea.
why do you experts write him off , im sure the rehabilitation would not have proceded if there was no hope he would figure again, as a rule a decision would have been made months ago if he was as we say a lost cause the retirement word would have been mentioned, safc would not waste money on an unrepairable player.
A fit Wes Brown would walk into our 1st team. If he survives Paulos high intensity pre season then he's going to be like a new signing. If not then he might aswell call it a day!
i do honestly think the staff must have an opinion that there must be a strong case he will return , if the injury has healed without him breaking down even before reaching the training ground this time , it was in the new year he suffered a set back from it if i remember correctly , probably asked to do too much, in order to dig us out of the ****, the same with catts i think , not healed not ready and much to soon. well thats my thoughts anyway , i will await my punishment from the forum.
What, we'd force him to retire? I don't think you can do that mate. Whether or not he can play again isn't the question. Obviously he can. Whether he can play at this level is the question. I don't think he'll be able to. It's an opinion based on the fact that he's old, he's been out a long time and he was prone to injury as it was. No one said they were an expert. We were asked our opinion and people answered. Should we all have refrained from answering as we don't have medical degrees? Top notch prickly response from you as ever.
to the point..... prickly i know what you are saying , i think the man himself would know ,he must think he can , after all hes had enough of the game under his belt, and he cant be broke, he must want to play otherwise he would have called time on it months ago im sure, any way i hope he has a return.
A fully fit almost firing on all cylinders wes and jos, highly decorated footballers on the training pitch with these young defenders, i bet they are in awe
