Boggers, not saying Williams was good, bad or indifferent, just that he's gone. Thing is, over last few seasons he stopped contributing talented players, feel as one of Bates mates he was ok with chairman's policy as long as he drew his fat salary. Rock on!!
Agreed there. Long time since he scouted anything worthwhile. Only have to look at the ****e we captured over the past few seasons. Long time since we discovered Snoddy, Beckford and Becchio. The sooner every reminder of the bates regime is removed the better. Also another sizable wage saved Ill bet
Glad the place is finally getting a decent clear out. I agree ristac. Really it's coming down to a law of averages given how many players have gone through our revolving door over the last eight years.
This week is like having a non-stop boner, its better than blue tablets ffs. The week that just keeps giving. Take my hat off to GFH and George Dawes. GFH for getting rid of the dross once and for all, and BMD for having the balls to say that he is a better judge of players than Williams. BMD is also having a huge impact at TA with how things get done. The mardy cow with the purple hair? Lorimer is still trying to defend bates. Having a difficult job to do isn't an excuse for doing it terribly, no matter how much he tries to convince us or himself
Loving all of this guys. Would have been interesting to see how Nunez had progressed under BMD and playing footy rather than hoofball. But we move on and there is definitely a good feel about the club. Can someon close the TW now so that our good start to the season isn't spoilt by some rich sh%t spoiling our fun and nicking Byram and/or McCormack.
