Why does everyone seem to hate the english

    hate may be a strong word but it certainly seems everyone dislikes the english.

    FA chairman David Bernstein called on the 208 FIFA member associations to stop Sepp Blatter being re-elected unopposed but they voted by 172 votes to 17 not to postpone the election.

    The Argentinian head of FIFA's finance committee told the congress: 'We always have attacks from England which are mostly lies with the support of journalism which is more busy lying than telling the truth. This upsets and disturbs the FIFA family.'But we have seen the World Cup go around the world, to South America and Africa and it looks like this country does not like it.

    In an interview with a German press agency yesterday, Grondona called England 'pirates' and added: 'With the English [2018 World Cup] bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left.'

    Americans don't hate the English...I know I don't. BUT when English citizens start doing the 'ol "we are better than you" comments, I must remind them of their government's position when being an ally with us.

    The position: follow our ideas.

    Hmmm, the corrupt FIFA members don't want us rocking their gravey boat yet people from all around the world (maybe not Argentina) voted for us to hold the Olympics next year. Go figure.

    I like the people of southern England and the West Country folk in particular (they make cider and Cornish pasties!)

    The northerners are mostly ****ers though.
