Morning all A bit grey here...some drizzle earlier. Some cooking to do today I preparation for weekend visit of Mrs H's son, daughter-in-law and grandson who we will be baby-sitting on Saturday. Harry Forrester has moved from Doncaster to Brentford with compensation still to be agreed. If it's compensation, will Villa and us get a share?
I shouldn't think so - he signed for Brentford two years ago after being released by Villa, so the chain stopped there. Don't think he's worth much anyway...
I was looking at a review of last season and was surprised to see that Matty Whichelow still has no club despite being released in January. Is this correct? I also note that Josh Walker has been released by Scunthorpe.

What an eejit. If he has no interest in provincial lower league football (that league from which his beloved west ham were recently promoted i hasten to add) why did he devote so much of last season's column space to having a dig at us? I wish some of these journalists would just have the courage to stand by their convictions and defend those views rather than resorting to the petty pot shots that, when aimed at them, they so depise. People like him are an embarrassment to the decent football writers out there. Incidentally, I cannot remember the last time I saw the word "Walley" in print. Nice to see that the ability to insult without resorting to profanities is still alive and well!
