It was in terms of votes, but a lot of people had said they couldn't be arsed with the thread itself but hadn't actually voted. Think it was practically even if you counted their votes, but if you took out the two votes from the United posters then it went in favour of it not returning.

It used to get 100's of posts a day. Granted many of them were pointless but still, activity is what the site needs and the banter thread was more often than not the most active thread around. I dont think it left page one of the Liverpool board for well over a year and it wasnt stickied.

Shame people like that toon idiot ruined it.

Indeed he was. It will probably be a lot calmer now if we were to have it back but it's down to the mods, after all they're the ones who have to deal with the arguments that come of it.
