My dislike of Lampard has nothing to do with either his ability or the team that he plays for. Zola was a superb player and I doubt anyone dislikes him. There are other players that are **** and easy to despise, like Charlie Adam, and very good ones that just annoy everyone, like Suarez. No problem with Paulinho trying to emulate Lampard's style of play, especially if he scores as many goals. Can't see it happening, though.
His overall attitude just annoys me. Celebrates too much in front of opposition fans and there's just something really smug about him. He's a Tory, too. Various off-field things have probably given me a poor impression of him, as well. Don't blame him for the way that he left West Ham, though. They sacked his dad, FFS. Haven't you ever seen a player and just thought that he looked like a bit of a twat?
I don't mind being compared to the Grinch, but can we leave out the suggestion that I'd wear a red top? Disgraceful. There aren't too many current Chelsea players that I particularly dislike, anyway. Lampard's probably the only one that stands out, though Ivanovic does have his moments.
It's a back handed compliment. Why would I like seeing a great player playing for a team I don't like? As PNP says he is not as likeable as say Zola, but I have an admiration for him. And I have never called him Fat Frank in my life, cause it's daft. James Corden would like to be fat in the same way Lampard is.
I always felt that Martin Chivers walked around like he had a dildo up his arse, talk about mince. He needed a bitch slap for sure the curly headed nincompoop
Because its great to watch the skill of a 'special' player at work, especially when one of your own team outwits them, then goes on to score a goal etc, its better than beating all the **** players.
Even if I were a rival fan I'd find it hard to dislike Feank. He's an absolute gent and will fight tooth and nail for club and country. He is a very top professional. Celebrating in front of away fans... At the Bridge before away fans were moved he did the same celebrations so it's not that he's celebrating in front of them but more his usual celebration. Love him to bits. Chelsea legend
Older heads perhaps understandable but it's the hate for Luiz I don't get (off rival fans). I've not come across anyone that hates our newer crop though.
Sounds a bit simple but he just has the sort of face you want to lump. People crow about his ability because he will occasionally carry the ball out from the back and spray it 40 yards to the wing but too often it's overlooked how wayward he can be, particularly when losing/chasing a game. More importantly though, the way he goes about the pitch, leading with elbows, is cowardly. Why clatter someone half your size off the ball when 4-0 up in a cup tie?
The only thing I dislike about Frank is he's chummy with Terry - there's a serious error in judgement there. Otherwise great player, good role model, good attitude, relatively eloquent for a footballer - can't really see what's to dislike. I think the Luiz grin while feigning injury made a lot of people hate him, fairly understandably - I don't particularly mind him though.
Isn't Lampo also bezzy mates with love-rat Cashley Cole? Again, that's another major error of judgement, imo.
