Norwich clearly aren't that desperate for money otherwise they would sell Holt for less than 3 million? Also if they where that desperate for cash and really wanted Hooper they wouldn't have signed that Van Wolfswinkel and be interested in Redmond. Don't believe your friend it doesn't add up what he said at all. Also if Hooper was off to Norwich we really wouldn't be bidding for him, i only see it as a positive that we are still interested, we will know by now or not whether he would actually be interest in coming to us. If we are still bidding for him which we may not be and it all could be a cover up, but if we are there is definately a chance he could be coming to Hull.
I had the pleasure of talking to Ash in Blowers this morning. Asked his opinion on the strikers we have been linked with - he said he'd avoid Hooper as the SPL is not a great league and at £4m it's probably double what he's worth. Most players from the SPL can't hack the PL. Carlton Cole - he said he'd definitely have, having played against him - he said his movement was incredible and he was very difficult to get the ball off. From an ex pro with decent judgement, Cole would still be very much on my 'sign up' SB!
Personally I'd say we'd be favourites over palace as we'd get him out of London, but each to their own.

Watches are a great investment. The return is far better than any bank interest rate. A watch can double in value making you 1000's over a few years.
