Discussed pre season asking if the ball has come out in training (it hasn't)

Discussed how last season went (all positive regarding goals against the big teams and host's of drive time said they rate him)

discussed potential England call up. (They think he is good enough.)

    Jay Rodriguez on talkSPORT:

"The vision is that we want to improve on the position Southampton finished in last season."

"That’s one of the main strengths of Southampton. They want to keep improving so there is no time to rest on what we’ve done."

"International football is a different level but it’d be a great feeling to go and represent your country."

"This year it’s going to be a tough season but an enjoyable one because we’ve got the drive and want to improve on what we did last year."

"The World Cup is something to look forward to [for me] but I think I’ll try and keep my head down. I can only concentrate on my own form and work hard because I need to improve a lot."

"International football is a different level but it’d be a great feeling to go and represent your country."

"It’s something to work to and hopefully I can get a sniff but I’ll just have to wait and see how the season goes."

That sounds a bit messy. At least he kept his end up and brought it off.

If you want to hear JR, you can always go to the TalkSport website and select their Listen Again service. Ours is not to crappy a crappy radio station would want to be heard again, but there it is.

As Sainthudson posted at 4.55pm you know what time of today you need to access.

    EDIT:

    http://www.talksport.co.uk/radio/listen-again/episode/119932

If it isn't already selected, select 17.00-17.30pm, and it starts 18mins 16secs in. Durham and Gough end up waxing quite lyrical about JR. Durham especially likes JR and went to St Mary's [boo..!] to watch Saints play Liverpool and was very impressed by JR and the whole team.
