Just back from Calan Bosch, Menorca yesteday. The weather has just settled in for the summer. 30C every day last week and only one day at 21 the week before... I pity you poor fookers going to Cyprus it has become a **** hole thanks to Russian money and is dying on its arse as a result. We went last year and were shocked at what had happened in the ten years since we last went. We wont ever go back!
If you are in Cuitadella get down the the harbour and get yourself into the eatery that is furthest away from the sea turn right before the bridge. Not cheap buut awesome. If in Calan Bosch and like seafood Mr Jaumes is the place to be. This is also in a harbour. Get yourself down to Son Saura and cop of an eyeful of all that naked loveliness!!!!!
Sounds good pal! All I know is its in Arenal d'en Castell, but I dont really know much more. I just paid for it!
North of the Island, great beach! Son Saura is too far away unless you have a car. A bus to Cuitadella (45mins) is worth doing if you get bored of all the sea, sand and sun. The old town (is properly old) and well worth a visit.
Nice one the beach is a 10 minute walk and looks great. I'll research Cuitadella as I'm going for 10 days and even in paradise I cant sit still for too long!
if you are not going with Jet2holidays dont check their prices, we saved £450 compared to Thomas Cook and Thomson. ;-) The flights crack me up as they are always like the Hale and Pace Yorkshire Airlines sketch. Enjoy your break.
Went there (Cala en bosc) 30 years ago, they were still building it. Full of Germans, I recall. Not bad - kids loved it.
It's still only small. Hardly any krauts there. mainly English and Spanish with a few Italians. I didnt mean to turn the thread into trip advisor sorry guys.
Im on holiday in Italy very hot love it been here 7 years now **** them 10 day/2 week holidays they only last 5 mins
