also on website. usa doesn't rule the world, it just thinks it does. the rest of the world don't give a crap, if america really ruled the world they'd have rolled over iran and north korea a long time ago.

Not a bad price for Jonjojojojo really, think he showed this season that he's not ready yet to step up to reguarly playing and trying to push towards the top 4. When he's good, he's very good but when he's off form, he's shocking; too inconsistant. Good move for him though, Swansea should develop his weaknesses and hopefully he'll do well for them. I'm happy with the price we got and maybe more with addons/extras. I make us out at a 1mill net spend so far but extra addons from Shelvey and Carroll bring us up to a profit. That said, we've probably spent 15mill on agent fees or something equally silly Who's the next to go? I feel there'll be more than the "one or two" that BR mentioned...potentially up to 4 with another few signings to come in.
My opinion is simply that neither man is tall enough nor aggressive enough. LFC need that. we need an english league option not a european passer. utd - vidic city - kompany chelsea - terry arsneal... yes arsenal. mertesacker we need to get real here. skertl and agger = ferdinand and evans at best
If Skrtel can find the form he had the season before last, he's an absolute monster in the air defensively and not half as bad as people make out with the ball on the floor either. If is the big part of that statement though. I'm not convinced Rodgers or his backroom staff are savvy enough defensively to improve what we have to the level that Clarke had from them. Stat wise, we're not much worse off in goals conceeded, but we certainly look more shakey than the stats suggest and I cringe with each defensive set play. We need to sign a defensive coach as a priority, never mind defenders.
When Skrtel plays well he looks a good defender but once he gets rattled he's a liability, we cannot rely on him. If we replace him and then give Kelly and Wisdom a chance in League Cup games I'll be happy.
Lloyd James has signed a pro deal. Wonder if we'll see him get a few games in the cups this year after making the subs bench at the end of last season.
Manuel Pellegrini will fend off interest in Micah Richards by telling the defender he is part of his plans at Manchester City. Richards has been linked with a departure from City this summer after struggling to break into Roberto Mancini's side in recent seasons - although injuries have also played their part. But new manager Pellegrini is set to inform the versatile stopper that he wants to keep him in his Citizens squad - despite interest from the Premier League and abroad. Chelsea are tipped to make a move for the 25-year-old - who can play at centre-back and right-back - while Liverpool have also been credited with an interest. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is a long-term admirer of Richards, who joined City at the age of 14 from Oldham Athletic. AC Milan, Inter and Bayern Munich are also tracking the England international, who is continuing talks with City over a new contract. Pellegrini is set to assure Richards that he will play a bigger part at the club than he did under Mancini - with the Chilean deciding he does not want to let him leave. {LINK}
"credited" means 2 years ago there was some story in the press (made up) and this hack threw that in here to fill up his page.
