What is the best formation 2013-2014?

You have Taylor who could cover both Davies and Rangel
Amet to cover either CB's
Routledge to come on to refresh the wingers
Ki could either be used to replace Michu or even Britton/Canas
Shelvey could be used to cover a winger or michu
Gomis to come on for michu to go 2 up front, or Bony.

I just feel that sort of line up would be great for us, give us much more options depending on how the game is going.

Then you could rotate the bench and starting line up with these players, + the likes of JDG, Pozuelo and Chadli.

I really am starting to get excited about next season. I mean when was the last time you looked at our bench, and thought, he could change the shape of the game.

 

Change the shape of the game .... we could play our second string and still beat Cardiff


We are all going to need a program on the first day of the season to recognize the numbers.

 

But what will our second string be. Provided we get Gomis and Bony, the bench Never has just picked is just as strong as the players starting. Credit to Laudrup and the board, they're putting together one hell of a squad here.

 

we should play the same formation we have always played at home with players playing in their prefered position and vary it away from home depending who we are playing. If we are losing by more than one goal with 10 minutes to go send on another striker and get as many balls into the 18 yard box as we can and go for broke...

 

With all the midfielders and wingers, I fancy the very rarely used 4-5-4 formation

If we can sign both of those strikers, that would be great. I'd like to see de Guzman on the bench at least though.
