You pay £26m for him to do a job, had he not quite lived up to his hype then I'd see why you'd want to recoup some of his money. He's far from his best at the moment, that's what I mean. However, I'd definitely take him at Chelsea. Still brilliant and I believe, some may disagree, his position has been messed around with a bit. Think he'd do a top job up top.
waw did Carroll become the reference of good players now , if he worth half of what Rooney worth, then you should had kept him
Okay so you might get 40m for him, IMO you won't get anymore than that. He won't go abroad, he won't come to us nor will he go to city. Could Spurs (if they're interested) or Arsenal afford to pay £40m AND his massive wages? Probably not. So that leaves the Chavs. I'd be surprised if they come out and met your asking price of 40-50m straight away, especially when you could get Lewandowski cheaper. I wasn't trying to say he wasn't worth 40m, it was just the fact that knowing Shwan (and we all know what he's like ) he'd come out and say he's worth 60M! When we all know that he isn't.
We wont sell to chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs or anyone else in England. If and its a big IF he wants out, hes off abroad.
No.... we really did apologise. http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/manchester-united-transfer-wayne-rooney-1982216
That has nothing to do with it Why would he rock the boat with such a statement just before leaving his post? Rooney may end up staying after these talks, but it's pretty clear he's unsettled.
Fergie and Rooney fell out. Fergie got his revenge on Rooney after 2010. It was always going to happen. Rooney should be happy hes not been made into Haggis. Sir Alex knows people I think Rooney will stay but he's never going to get the support back without some magnificent performances over a prolonged period of time.
I honestly dont think Rooney has ever really wanted to leave united. i think hes incredibly thick and very gullible.
Paul Stretford is a major prick but Rooney looks up to him and lets him make the big decisions. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Stretford is angling for one more transfer while Rooney still has a major value. Agents make much more from a chunky transfer than renegotiating a pay rise. Anelka's agents (his brothers) liked him to move on every year or two as the signing on fees basically funded the family business.
This is what i was referring to. Rooney isnt going to ask for a move, it benefits him in no way. A new contract benefits him but it doesnt benefit hi agent very much while a transfer does. players who ask for transfers = Agents dirty work. I have no idea why agents exist in football. There i nothing that makes me think.....thank **** for agents, we would of been up **** creek without them.
