A WFC question again. Who was the only Hertfordshire-born player to have scored 20 or more League goals in a season for the club with 26? You will have to go back some way, but I do remember him playing for us.
Did have a bit of help ofh Righto, here's an easy one. Would be interested if anyone knew this without using google Another two parter. a) What does 'Golgotha' mean? b) Where and what is it?
a) a place of great suffering b) it's a site outside of the walls of Jerusalem and is where the Crucifixion of Jesus took place (for those who believe....) No help from google - I taught this to my class only 4 months ago.
Flip a coin between you. ofh your part a was what I was looking for. BB. Your part b was what I was looking for...about the crucifiction
Cheers ofh - er, um, er - I'd better think of a question quickly...... Fish do it, mammals do it, birds do it and reptiles do it - but only two species find it to be contagious, ourselves and chimpanzees. What is it?
This is an easy one. Again, in 2 parts a) Where in England, was the first bomb dropped by a zeppelin in WW1? b) What term, associated with music, can be linked to this place? Be careful if you use wikipedia
Don't find it easy at all. Sheringham in Norfolk is the answer to a) I think. Vaughan Williams lived there for a time, but that is not a term. Allegro? but can't piece it together.
This is just a complete guess: a) Canterbury b) cantabile - the Roman name for it was something like Cantiacorum (I vaguely remember from school)
