Also good news, sceptical as to why he has been 'Frustrating' for some of the Forest Fans though.

Hope he gets a good chance to prove himself.

Also, good to have some name that is not from the continent. Need some UK based players too.

Absolutely, need to keep the Home Grown player count up if we're getting a lot of Italians over!

Nice one for doing a thread on this with it being official - won't clog up the short news thread, as this is pretty big news!

The option of an extra year is quite a common thing for us - seen us do it a few times the last few years!

Think it might make people pay a little more attention, a signing like this... especially with that embargo <whistle>

Let's just hope that he doesn't go any further down the road that S Murray might lead him.

Rumours of attitude problems isn't a good thing. Zola doesn't strike me as a disciplinarian either.

Just saying, pleased with the signing. Good news, especially on a free.

What a signing! Watford will give him the freedom to express himself on the pitch - play him behind the striker in our 3-5-2 formation and I think we'll really be on to something.

And if he isn't a success? There'll be two or three players of similar quality waiting to take his place, and he didn't cost us anything! Everyone's a winner

    Apart from 3 years' wages........say £5k (min.) per week - £780,000 - hardly anything!

plus signing on fee and of course the agents fee, yes its a free transfer. But what really counts is what he can deliver for us. :1980_boogie_down:

I was talking in terms of a transfer fee - hypothetically, if we had bought him when he had, say, 2 years left to run on his contract, we'd be looking at a 7-figure sum. To sign him on a free is a bit of a steal!

Nice to have somebody who isn't afraid to shoot from outside the area.

Forest fans seem to be very mixed in their views - sounds like a great talent who maybe doesn't always put in the effort.

Then again Zola will make sure he does and if not he'll be sitting in the East stand each week.

Now THATS what I call faith !!
After that so poor Wembley performance ?? Something was rather wrong there -lack of effort ? lack of commitment from some of the players? (and were playing a pretty average team).Manager must take some of the blame.
If I'd spent the money some of you did that day think I'd have been seeking a refund from the club !

I think Holloway got his tactics right but certainly we did play poorly throughout.
