Depends where it was for. Feudal land laws still apply in some parts of Scotland for example and a lairdship or a dukedom is a severe moneyspinner - everyone in Inverary who has a commercial premises, for example, doesn't pay a rate to Argyll and Bute council (apart from the reduced rate they pay for essential services) but pays a feudal duty to the Duke of Argyll.

I could also go on about how we only have a crime of trespass in special circumstances as Scotland, unlike the rest of the UK, is a free to roam country -there's a list of exceptions where trespass is applicable (golf courses, residential gardens, airfields, places that charge entry fees) but otherwise, it's shooty in.

how would that be better? a donkey will be dead in a couple of years. Land on the moon may be worth something in the future his great great great grandson may make money out of it.

Exactly, plus you'd have a donkey for a while and then some donkey meat when it dies.

Its all legal and above board apprently. not just westerners claiming it. I'm sure my mate said the bloke selling the land got taken to various courts and it was ruled he could sell it.

I'm sure the russains have probably bought loads of it anyway as thats where they plan to build their army of futuristic monkey space robots of the future.

What's the point in buying land on the moon when we haven't even been there?
