Anyone else watching this? Fantastic programme. Almost makes me want to pay the licence fee. What an antidote to the usual brain-numbing ****e like soap operas, reality TV and talent shows.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/adamcurtis/2011/05/all_watched_over_by_machines_o.html The first two episodes are on iplayer. I recommend watching them.
Best stick to Culter old yin. The noise and bustle of the city would probably kill you. Plus there are people of different colours and religions in Edinburgh and that would probaly blow your tiny mind.
Edinburgh is a ****hole. The only decent thing that ever happened there was in May 1980 when Easter Road was awash with red.
I dunno. You try and introduce a bit of decent and cultured conversation onto GC and it gets hijacked by 'tards like ER.
That looks like it might be pretty good, Stereo. I just had a look to see if I might be able to watch it on BBC iplayer - no joy. It says that it's not available in my area. How's that fair? I used to pay the license fee (in spirit). If anyone knows a way round this.....?
I'd rather not. He's liable to leave one of his darkly twisted links. The last time I innocently opened one of his links I was properly angry to discover that I'd made a sex-mistake in my trousers. Never again.
