Agreed, and we could deffo claim it as original too! Vinnie, any chance you could do a "Footballs coming home" style version for the terraces, with that chorus but with some of the players name checked in it?? I'm always happy, although I have a low tolerance for ****wittery. As for the clapping, the foam hands are waiting for the start of the season which if I'm honest, doesn't seem to be getting closer! We're not from America, we're from Ullllllllllllllllllllllllll!
Whenever watching TV I love hearing the Ull accent - (most recently on national TV were 2 contestants on Pointless). Personally speaking I think it is a very sexy accent - can't stand the Geordie accent (whether that is me just being me).
Alright lad, as I said, it's original and I enjoyed it. I'll download it and attempt to support any local bands. You have my download mate
Bloody 'ell. Just been checking out Vinnie and the Stars on youtube. Might be my new favourite band. Huge range of styles from rap and jazz to blues and ska. A great talent I reckon. Have you lads actually produced a CD that's been marketed in a big way? Might seem like a silly question, I'm just wondering if I'd be greeted with completely blank stares if I tried to purchase one here in Melbourne.
When Erik says his name in a southern accent he calls himself "cant" I think And Erik, thank you for the offer last night you incurable romantic you
Vinnie is a good friend of mine and I actually stayed at his house in York last summer when I was home, I think he is very talented and I love his song writing style. A lot of humour in what he writes and lots of different influences, big city fan too, last time I saw him was on the concourse in the east stand. A big thumbs up from me!
This is bloody ace; having just got back from a 3 year stint in Nigeria this was just the thing to get me back on the forums - Rock on Vinnie, Rock on! I'll be downloading this!
Fecking hell you ever been to Nigeria? A 3 year stretch would be the least of your worries - you'd need a gallon of acid to clean your cock with after said activity; kinda takes the fun out of it!
Hmmmmm, sound advice it would appear your a expert in this area. I fear that now I'm back in Blighty this perscription is redundant....although I'm struggling to tell the difference between High Wycombe and Abuja - that said we had constant power and leccy for the last few weeks.
