    Midfielder <laugh>

    Yh right....

We already have 5 central mid fielders and none will be leaving and we won't sign a 6th. Ferguson said 2 or 3 signings, and we have our likely 2 Young and De Gea. No central midfielder will be bought.

Wow, yet another one with a perfect psychic connection to SAF... <doh>

P.S. Remind me again, how many central midfielders did we have this season? Carrick, Giggs, Scholes, Fletcher, Anderson, Gibson...is that five or six?

Whatever. After trying to fool us with fake optimism it your true identity becomes ever more obvious. You have no evidence of what you say at all. The Daily mail said those will be our signings so it is the case.

Its absoulute nonsense he has been kept on. Im disgusted truth be told. He is aboultely useless. Been past it for about 5 yyears and injured half the time. Was the player I was most looking forward to being released he is crap. Fergie has ballsed up re signing him.

I think the signing of Owen for another year is fantastic. I really thought he could go so I'm delighted to see he's staying. In truth I still believe MO is one of the best 'poacher' forwards in the PL. I don't think this will have a massive effect on the future of Berba, as much as I dont want him to go, I think he will anyway - and would have even if United planned on releasing Owen. As for Macheda and Welbeck....I don't see Danny Welbeck having a great future at the club and with Kiko, a season at a PL side could benefit him. Plus, for me having Owen come off the bench would be far more successful than Berba.

Fake optimism? We had a great season and there is no doubt about this. However, we do need changes but Ferguson has said himself we will make 2 or 3 changes and we have been heavily linked to Young, De Gea and Verane. So are you saying there is a 4th and Ferguson was not telling the truth? I am simply going on what Ferguson has said. He obviously believes Anderson will improve and Carrick has a role and that Cleverly has had a valuable loan and that Fletcher has a big role at Utd and we have all seen Gibsons improvement. However, I believe that central midfield is not good enough but Ferguson decision is final.

At the end of the day. Someone who knows far more about football than any of you agrees with me.

We are always linked with people. Those that actually sign for us afterwoulds can be counted on one hand. De Gea is the only one of those i expect.

None of us know the clear situation at Utd and how much Ferguson has to play with in terms of money. We obviously can't sign the best players as we can't afford signings over 40m but signing on Owen was not something that we had to do. Whether it means Berba leaves we will find out soon enough but what does this mean for Welbeck and co. Ferguson has stated so many times that they will be back next season. Does this mean we have 5 or 6 strikers? I am hoping Welbeck is loaned and that Kiko is loaned out again. But in reality we need some changes in midfield.

I still fail to see how Owen staying on is a bad thing.

Because he is past it, injury prone, a waste of whatever money we pay him and a waste of squad space. Thats why its a bad thing.

I fail to see any positives in such a situation, all it means is Berba will leave and Welbeck will take his place. Any person in their right mind would understand that strike force is weaker than that of this season. Losing a 20 goal striker for a injury prone old player is not the way forward in my eyes. Welbeck is hardly a super young talent, if he was not English and from our youth team he would not be anywhere near Fergusons plans in my honest opinion.

**** me it's the same every summer. All the jump-the-gun, panic merchants **** themselves a week into the transfer window when we've not signed 4 players. Forgetting along the line that Fergie actually quite good at this managerial lark and does actually know what he's doing.

OK, you disagree with that, but then you say..

Ah, so you don't actually know what the manager is gonna do? Don't ****ing say it then.

Also, you've said that you need changes in midfield, but hang on, you said in the same thread that...

    That ****ing makes sense! <party><party><party><party><party><party><party><party><party><party>

Total bull? how can it be? Are YOU trying to tell us that a player who has not contributed to any of our success this season is more important than Berbatov who has been heavily involved in our success in the league?
