Luiz playing great and Paulinho looks good, hope Spurs dont get him Such pride shown at the national anthem, Spain are definitely against 12 tonight
No clue why Bernard and Jadson are. If he is just trying to get more Brazilian based players fair enough but Jadson is on the way down and Bernard is just another Coutinho/Lucas Moura/Robinho who were wonderkids at home and will have to prove himself across the pond at some point.
lucas is not even within the top 50 Brazilians in line for a place in the squad! lets not fool ourselves here he is not in favour with scolari and has not been in favour since dunga left
Neymar has already achieved something Messi and Ronaldo are yet to do...perform at a international tournament!
Lucas hasn't really regained his best form for us yet so he's going to be a long way off the national squad. I've never been a big fan of David Luiz but I must admit he's won me over quite a bit in this tournament. His performances coupled with the statement he made at the beginning indicate that with the right motivation (i.e. national pride) he can be a top class player. Whether he can find the motivation to play like that for a club side over here though is debatable.
I could be wrong here but didn't Luiz excel against Barca in the CL final in 2012 too? Maybe playing against those sort of players suits him better?
Coutinho and Hulk are different so it depends on tactics. Hulk is big, strong and powerful. He is a physical presence and that can be very useful in certain games.
I don't remember that game clearly so maybe he did. He has undoubted quality but has looked inconsistent with Chelsea and not disciplined enough as a defender. He looked immense throughout this tournament though (well, at least after I started taking notice), and so I just think he's a mood player and he needs his attitude to be right.
surely torres must be sold on the back of this by chavski? if they've any sense they'll hock him on the back of a good confed cup now ad get the scrapings back of the 50mil they wasted
