Gary Bradshaw and Paul Foot have both left Ferriby to join Scarborough Athletic, after the former couldn't agree terms on his contract and the latter wanted to continue playing first team football.
Just looking at the squad now as it stands with Figs and Davies now Hull City players Steve Bruce can put out 2 very strong teams. As an example say : - NORTH FERRIBY game (3-5-2) --------------------- Goalkeeper 1 Chester Davies Figueroa Elmohamady Meyler Quinn Brady Boyd Aluko WINTERTON game(4-4-2) ------------------ Jakupovic McShane Faye Hobbs Bruce jnr Rosenoir Koren Evans Dudgeon Fryatt Proschwitz Thats leaves the likes of McLean - Cairney - Stewart to be among the 2 subs benches.
We usually send the reserves/youths/trialists to Winterton and the first team usually play against Ferriby, I suspect that will stay the same.
I suspect that both benches will be full of the type you mention. Its the first chance for SB to give them alla run out at the same time. Cobb web remover and just a shame its all so rushed before they fly off to Portugal on the tuesday.
So no home friendlies arranged yet other than the Dawson match.Seems a bit naff arranging a second match in Portugal .Some fans have arranged to go over for the first one and may miss the second due to flights.Should have both been announced st the same time.
True, but the one good thing is with this time is that Steve Bruce can send out 2 strong 11's on the same night and then fill both benchies with whats left and some kids. It will be interesting to see what SB actually does. Mrs T has got me to book a week out there now since the Braga game has been announced ffs. They are only a step up from the Ferriby and Winterton games in importance. Training games imo.
They do a BBQ and flame the burgers. Then slp on some cheese if you want cheese. Anything else has to be done in the back. Lol It has crossed my mind. Lol. But i guess its another venue off the list. Supposed to be a sunday. 11th August as Scunny have a league game on the saturday.
Did you go to the Crewe away game a few years ago, where Calvin Zola tore us apart. I have to admit i worried for us in the Premier League after that game, was shocking. Same as OLM i tend to go to most of them, has anyone from the club said why they have done this? Feels a bit harsh on Ferriby and Winterton to me.
I was at Crewe and Bernard Mendy looked worse than a sunday league player for a start. In the end driving home i put it down to a hot day and we were not that bothered about the game. The reason that Winterton has to be the same night as Ferriby is that the whole Hull City squad Fly Out to Portugal and there pre-season training camp on the tuesday. I wondered if Ferriby could bring there game forward to the sunday afternoon when more people would and could attend ? Appears not by all accounts sadly.
I was at Crewe and it was indeed terrible. Though it's hardly unusual, despite the results we often look really ordinary against lesser opposition, Chesterfield, Hearts, Rochdale etc.
It's not much of ground tick, it's just like Costello but with a football pitch in the middle of the track. And they only serve alcohol free lager.
For those going to the Winterton away game and not knowing how to get to the ground (which is very easy) www.pitchero.com/clubs/wintertonrangers/s/match-selection-9374.html?fixture_id=1780701&official=0 Hopefully Bruce will split his squad into 2 and send a team as per what Winterton have on there website www.pitchero.com/clubs/wintertonrangers/news/updated-pre-season-friendly-d-960265.html
