We will amount a play-off challenge next year (and i don't mean we'll finish 6th, i mean we could be 3rd) but that will be the case for a lot of teams. I think it means that a bad month could be the difference between about 8 places in the league. We are all basing our predictions on worse case scenarios atm but i think we'll perk up after we make a couple of signings.
True, I think we're all sort of worried that we'll sign a few youngsters and Adebola and the likes of Danns etc will go elsewhere. I know I am.
Agreed, although i'm not 100% expecting a promotion campaign, i'm not as worried as i was this time last year, and fingers crossed we'll be up there next May. It's still early in the close season, players/managers are on holiday and most signings don't usully happen until the end of the month/start of July. If they ahven't signed for anyone else yet, then they're still available, some people need to stop been quite so despondent and pessimistic with things. I don't necessarily mean everyone unanimously saying we're gonna be promoted, but at least try and remain positive when most other teams in the league are in the same position as us business wise at the moment.
Think we'll finish upper mid table, somewhere between 9th and 12th. We need almost a full new squad and I can't see anything but a poor start to the season.
i've never been to Hull, is it a friendly place as i was thinking of coming up next season and staying over. Dont laugh but i want to look at the fishing history as im a bit of a maritime buff.
There is a very nice maritime museum in the centre of Hull that takes in the Icelandic cod fishing and our whaling history. Hull is a very nice place to visit and is pretty friendly, you should come up I think you will like the place
