Forgive my tardiness but it's time for us to move on to the left side of our Opposition XI midfield which now consists of Nathan Dyer and the central midfield powerhouse duo of Mulumbu and Fellaini . I fear this may be as much of a landslide as our other left-sided player but we shall crack on regardless, so, same spiel as the other 20 times, nominate the one player who you feel had the best performance(s) home and/or away against Saints this season, and may or may not be named Gareth Bale Get cracking!
Maloney got an assist at St Mary's and a last minute equaliser at DW so that was enough to edge it for me considering he played on the left in both (Bale played free role and on the right at WHL) and I knew everyone else was going to vote for Bale.
Maloney is actually a fair shout. Obviously it's gonna be Bale but Maloney would be a solid contender otherwise.
I was only kidding. Maloney is a very astute shout, but you know as well as I do that Bale is in with a landslide.
I think Bale might be in with a shout. Would definitely be the most coveted award that he has won this year
I concur, will probably move on to the pièce de résistance with the striker nominations this evening.
