    On trial - Oldham's player of the year last season - voted by fans and players - apparently much better than Chris Taylor and received 68% of fans votes for POTY compared to a certain striker who just signed for a smaller Championship clubs 6%.

    Could be a good one - played under Lomas at St Johnstone!

    Sounds good especially if better than Taylor who looked decent last season.

    Obviously need to sign these players before getting too optimistic but the rumours and signings so far are making me think we might actually have a decent season while a month ago I could only see relegation.

    He was our player of the season in the championship a few years back, but in the context of the squad we had at the time that doesn't say a lot! Not seen a lot of him since, but he was good to watch and looked capable of doing something when he got the ball. Scored a few belters too.
