    Security light? Ffs chazz I thought you knew me better than that.

    I live in wessie land. They know who I am. They know not to **** with my house. Plus I tell em I know you.

    It's a ornamental light with motion sensor and halogen bulb.

    20 mins? Will be there in 10.

    Chazz my mrs is useless at washing up. After she's done it I can take the piss like she does when I do something badly. Like putting lights up

    It's not a great idea to do this without seeing it, so I'd like to distance myself from any electrocution you may suffer.

    I'd assume that you're linking in to an existing lighting loop, so as long as you link one wire to the live and the other to the non-live(not the earth), then it should work.

    It's a new build and builders put everything in place apart from the light fitting. But builders were ****e so I don't trust em. Although I don't trust my work either. I may have to bite the bullet and call a sparky

    Did you put the halogen bulb in yourself? Honestly mate it will be that. Been there n ****ed it up myself.

    I did but put other halogen bulbs in internal sockets and they worked.

    Wife is having a ****ing field day taking the piss. I'm in a brilliant mood obviously.

    Even if he is, I live in wessie land. I've no ****ing hope. And I've got sky. He'll gaffer tape me to the socket and stick the live wire (brown, blue, red I don't care) on my testicles
