If I recall correctly Richie was the winger Swindon sold behind Paolo's back which triggered his resignation.
May i ask cest who you would have as owner of the club instead of ellis short and who as manager is your choice instead of pdc, lastly a list of players to be signed and sold. Because ellis shorts decisions are obviously in your view wrong.
I have fell out/had arguments with cest on numerous occasions, neither of us were write or wrong, its just a difference of opinion, but to single him out for every opinion he had from a year or more ago is just sad imho
You are refused permission to even inhabit the same solar system dog **** for brains.
its not an argument or a debate ,every post is just abuse , my opinion was different so it was met with abuse, and by the way i was right
I for one am bloody excited about the coming season...Of course there is apprehension mixed with it, but that is the nature of the game... We have been down the tried and tested route with Bruce and MON without much success, so I'm prepared to give Di Canio my full support..
Exactly, we could keep hiring a firing British based managers and keep signing average British based players on big wages. In the end we would get relegated and have to start the whole process again. I think Short is thinking we go for it with young foreign players and try and get up the league, maybe even a cup for a Europa place and then we can attract some bigger batter name players. One thing is for sure we will have the advantage of surprise as most other EPL clubs will know nothing about our players. A bit like when McClean first came to the club.
I am supporting PDC because he is our manager for Fuxake! I am supporting whoever he brings in because they wear the shirt. /endof
Forgive my cynical stance but this is about my 10th or 11th new 5year plan and promise of jam tomorrow. After the utter failure of yet another manager in mon, I'm not accepting rhetoric any longer and will reserve judgement until I see solid proof PDC can operate at this level first. When the tough talk is matched by quality on the pitch I'll relent. However, as with MoN, if I don't see vast difference by Christmas, I'll be expecting the same lads who crucified O Neill to crucify Di Canio too. Level playing field and all that? However, without reservation, I'll be delighted if it all goes well.
