My bday today and Mrs Swim has just managed to ditch the kids. Last minute so booking may be an issue, but any suggestions for a good restaurant. I fancy Italian, Spanish, Indian or French. I also have a £20 voucher for Vue but dont know if Man Of Steel is any good (is it about one mans strife in Port Talbot?)
Garruda - Indonesian (St. Helen's road) Didier & Stephanie - French (St. Helen's road) Cibo's - Italian (Pontcynna, Cardiff) Gallini's - Italian (Swansea Marina) La Brasseria - Spanish (end of Wind Street) La Parilla - Spanish ish (SA1, near Admiral)
World war Z was good fun. My favourite is the La Bras on wind street , im not really sure of good places nowadays as times and people change, I used to love Paco's on St Helens road but that went tits up quite a few years back !
I have been to Gallinis many times before, so crackin as always...I fancied a change but when I went through the other options with the Mrs she wanted Gallinis! Venison in port and stilton and knicked some of the Mrs' rack of lamb/dauphinoisse spuds ...lush
Venison in port & Stilton is making my mouth water If you like spicy/hot food you should really try Garruda one of these days...my favourite restaurant by a mile! Happy Birthday Swim.
Nom Nom, sounds splendid. I know my mrs is going to want to go out for food on my birthday, so I may give it a go...she'll have to make do with me being a bit drunk though as it coincides with the first game of the season
Burger king does a good burger, redrum in a bun with fries is nice and a large coke. (smoke it outside though) Penwydd Hapus Swim......have a good one..
