Best left until just before the season starts really. So much can happen between now and then, signings make a big difference.
Yeah at the moment but all depends how many players they have to get rid of. If what all the media say about West Hams financies is right I cant see them having anywhere near good enough team to challenge for promotion
silly ****! your the type i'm on about.what did you add to the debate? ****all.fact.whos the name caller me or you?
*You're*. What did you add to the debate originally by calling those who don't agree with you thick as ****? You brought it off track with a childish comment like that, DtoD was just pointing that out. It was a pretty unnecessary comment to make, you're doing little to change my view of you being a little kid when you come out with narrow minded and insulting stuff like that.
I don't think i could speculate as to our position next season without seeing who we will sign. I was speaking to Rod Arnold (the Ex Hull City goalkeeping coach, he runs the quizzes in the Fox and Coney on a Sunday and Monday) and he agreed that they need that one special player to spur the team on. QPR had Taarabt, Norwich had Holt and Swansea had Dyer. I think we will finish towards the top half of the table, probably playoffs. We could win the league, we could come 15th, Mr Indecisive I am! I just want the season to start again!!!
+ 16 and we will only concede 24 goals at home, see you can all stop worrying now the soothsayer has spoken
I don't get the reason for all the negativity. Yeah, it's a tough league. But it's not that much harder than this season. Okay we were gash at home last season, but we were hardly poor away. Okay, we buggered it up at the end of the season, but how many were we missing? No Mannone, No Stewart, No Barmby, No Rosenior, No Evans, No Guzan. All players who were key to us doing well - all unavailable at the end of the season. Where would we have been had Rosenior etc at the end of the season. Where would we have been if we had had Mannone and Stewart throughout 2011? Where would we have been if Campbell had done his knee in in 2008? Why is it that we're suddenly going to be so bad next season? Everyone goes on about Harper (who, incidentally - I have no time for), but the team as a whole performed well regardless of him. We've got seven new players lined up apparently, but we've already got talent in house. Yeah, it's a tough league, it's hard to place any team in any position, but the negativity on here is getting a bit silly.
I really think we will have a very good season next year, we are established and comfortable, we have some very good young hungry players who want to do well. Stewart is the key if he can get back by september time and continue his form from last year then a top half finish at least should be expected and with a couple of shrewd aquisitions this summer we could even be challenging for an auto spot. With the Allams behind us and a manager who has experience of playoff fights I believe we are one of the strongest teams in the division.
