It is a shame mate. Especially as I think that the prem might be too big a step for him at the moment. Good luck to him though, I hope he does well if he goes there.
That's what was said about Remy going to Newcastle. Of course our situation is rather different now than then.
big question is does he want to be in a team fighting relegation of team potentially fighting for promotion???
Certainly had a great goal tally last season. Would fit in well with the rest of our crew....... Charlie Austin guilty of Swindon nightclub assault Burnley footballer Charlie Austin has been found guilty of assaulting a man in a nightclub. ........Swindon Magistrates' Court heard the 23-year-old punched Sam Webb, 20, in the face after an altercation in Bushwackers in Swindon on 13 October.......Mr Webb told the court that he had disturbed Mr Austin in a toilet cubicle where he saw the footballer "hunched over" the toilet bowl. .....He said he heard a "sniffing sound" and suspected Mr Austin was using some kind of street drug...... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-wiltshire-22759753 please log in to view this image
Good to hear someone echo my sentiments ...................... he can & should be the biggest star of the Championship if he plays his cards right. Harry just needs to get him thinking likewise.
If Remy realises he's got no real options at the moment and gets stuck in in the Championship it will benefit both club and player. The danger is there's always one desperate club who'll plunge in at the last moment and take the risk with him, possibly abroad...
This exactly...best thing for club and player is for Remy to get his head down, sort out his legal problems (by which I mean face up to whatever the consequences are), and show his quality which should equal a lot of goals in the Championship...then reassess in January.
And on the subject of Dwight Gale...he's young, with potential, and obviously pretty good. Management may well be saying that out transfer policy is going to change...but one step at a time.
