No "if" nothing misleading. I saw a long thread where people were making silly threats and closed it so I could catch up. As I closed it I noticed PLT had it in hand so read no further.

No they weren't, but they aren't complaining about web content so there's no problem there.

If any parent wishes to let their child loose on the internet, just as with any film, TV program or video game, then they can't complain about the content of that site without checking it first.

Just moderating (or rather, not doing) in the way which has always been agreed since we first colonised this forum. An 'offensive joke' title explains clearly what is going to be found inside the thread and anyone who doesn't want to see it obviously has that option. If people don't want to see it they shouldn't look, and if they don't want their children to look they shouldn't let them. If they don't want to prevent their children from freely browsing the web they can't complain when they see some dodgy content. Can't have it both ways. What would be achieved by deleting posts? It seems to me like several posters have opened this thread simply in the hope of being offended so they can complain about it.

I don't think anyone is being serious so yes they are jokes.
