Keep Rooney, sign thiago and strongman for midfield and then if the gods of football allow it get Ronaldo. Sell Anderson, young. Would say Valencia and nani but that leaves us with zaha and welbeck out wide. Valencia will barely play and nani is more than likely going to be sold instead of young but oh well.
hes got a long way to go really. As for best position, its one of the great mysteries. He doesnt score goals, isnt better than Rooney as a number ten, isnt very good out wide and isnt going to play in the hole either. hes a handful and might make a good support striker. however its his lack of goals that are a concern.
I agree, and you have to question whether or not he's going to be able to develop while still at Man Utd. He will only fulfill his potential through game time so maybe that means moving on?...On the other hand, for the time being at least, he seems happy being 4th choice striker, although this stance may change after next season.
