The way I understood it ...Camp was allegedly close to someones daughter (no don't boo!)...but the facts of the matter, were that the facts were wrong...the girl was actually only 8 (no it was never implied that he was a *****...the initiators of the rumour had got the girls age wrong)..it was completely fabricated.

Anyway that was what I heard....complete fabrication...along with many of the other rumours

No logic to that sentence. While possible it is almost definitetly not the case as what is in it for Cisse? More likely is you've got £2.9m worth of wages dues to you over the next 18 months. We’ll give you £500,000 lump to go away now. Cisse’s says yes okay and then you’ve got a mutual agreement

Nice bit of shameless bragging there and in French. I’m very impressed… think that’s what you were looking for.

Thanks Cisse for helping us stay up, shame it went down hill after. Despite everything, with service, I still think he can deliver the goods.

He gets the choice of where to play instead of having to travel to places like Barnsley and Doncaster. He could probably earn more in the middle east anyway.

Whats clear about a striker with his ability leaving a premiership team to play for a Qatari team is that his main concern is money. So would he really leave a £40,000 a week contract now!!!!!! So that he doesn’t have to train with a team who are in the championship?!!?!!?!

By taking a pay off now. He can accept a lower contract elsewhere (probably to Franc ed paying whopping taxes) and our club gets to pay a fraction of the sum owed to a player who would otherwise have sat around and let the cash roll in and see out his contract. Mutually beneficial!!

I regard this is Hughes' biggest man management failure.

Cisse was clearly crazy enough to play at QPR and totally fired up at the end of the 2011/12 season. After the summer he was disinterested, what did Hughes do to him?

Apart from the winner against Stoke, I will hold the memory of his stunning strike against Reading in the League Cup for a long time, as, I'm sure will, Nines and Cia.

Another in the long list of disappointments.

He would get more in Qatar which is why he'd be perfectly happy to cancel the contract.

Djibril Cisse is one of the best finishers to have played at LR. His goals against Villa, Chelsea, City, Wigan and WBA prove this.

    Thanks for the memories Djibril.

Shame we couldn't harness that form he showed in the first season, Harry obviously doesn't fancy him and he clearly wants away, best option taken by the look of it...

    - So you believe we are willing to let him go for no transfer (hence the mutual agreement to terminate his contract)
    - Sure you agree £40,000 a week is a reasonable estimate of the wage he was on. That works out at £5700 a day!!

Therefore each day he spends without a club he loses out on £5700 a day and the club he was at was willing to let him go for no transfer fee. If you were able to come up with a rational or reasonable explanation why he would then decide to sacrifice £5700 a day I would be delight3ed to hear it because as a fan I would of course like that to be the case.

More than likely though you wont be able to because surely he would be better off picking up £5700 a day until another Qatari, French or even premiership team come along and give him a new contract.

He doesn't want to be here, hence the reason why this happened just before pre season started.

People agree to cancel contracts all the time and without a payoff. Eg Barton at Newcastle.

Wrong again, Barton joined us as effectively a free transfer and with no gap in his contract.

Same thing you would expect Cisse to have done unless he was to accept a lump sum pay off and not face the prospect of missing out on £5700 a day for literally no reason as he can leave on a free anyway.

So you still haven't given a reason why your confident he would choose to miss out on £5700 a day

because he doesn't want to be here. 5700 a day is chump change for him. Let's see if he spends months out of the game or gets a new team pretty quickly.
