we all know we are going to have to spend and smash our record to get at least two strikers. If we go down the road of cheap and get players in the danny mode then we will be in the same position as we already are and will be wasting our money.....everyone knows the striker is the most costly asset of any club...Up to £10 million or a little more for each striker is a must for a good season, A good striker could be the difference between staying in the premiership or going down....the rest apart from the keepers position is about right what we spend anyway,
You should be pleased by the 10.2 million bid for Bony then as that is is pretty much exactly what you want the club to offer for a striker.
lol now that is funny mate. Thank god they dont though lets be fair on this thread alone which at the moment is only 3 pages, long you my friend have argued on page one that we should be aiming for players in the 6-7 million range. Then a little later in the thread 2 strikers for 15 million then finally on page 3 up to 10 million or a little more for each striker. **** I am glad I you dont control the budgets for my business my overspend would be astronomical before the end of May let alone the end of the financial year. I assume you must wait to see what the club are thinking of doing then post something along the same lines.
To show ambition our club needs and I can not emphasise this enough to buy anywhere between 1 nad 11 players and spend anything between £1 and £30 million. Now I reckon after a lot of thought the club will listen to fans like me and do what I have just stated because its the only way I'm afraid
you know i talk sense and the club always come around to my way of thinking in the end.. All we need now is another top striker and maybe a heavy weight midfielder who can play in any position and we are sorted....we have sold ourselves well short on sponsorship though.....I will have to have a word in huws shell when i see him to up the anti after a year as we are worth more than £2 million to any sponsor today...
Finally a tongue in cheek response. For a minute I was actually losing my sanity thinking with all the crap you spout you were being serious. So I apologise as I now realise you were deliberately trying to be obtuse. Touche sir you are a very funny man and I salute you
Some good quotes from our chairman. http://www.ftbpro.com/reader/swansea/251078/jenkins-my-relationship-with-laudrup-is-good-but-i-won-t-change-transfer-approach?team=Swansea
The stadium is going to be extended in line with previous statements, but what is not happening is the small extension to the media setup that would have given an extra 700 seats.
'My relationship with Michael Laudrup has always been very good, that has never been in doubt. yeah if you say so but let michael know wont you....
Yes he can be hilarious on times, but he's harmless enough until he goes to Liverpool!................
