****ing dont listen to the high and mighty PDC. Everybody puts in whiplash claims, why be a martyr and cost yourselves a family holiday (2 grand). Will it bring the price of insurance down? Will it hell, it won't make one bit of difference. Tell her to go to the doctors tomorrow, say at first she felt alright but it's being steadily getting worse through the night. She can barely bend forward, finds it hard to lift her legs. She has pain across the top of her back and along the bottom. Doctors can't prove a backs not bad and this will be straight forward.
so every time you want a holiday get a shunt sorted, opened can of worms i think, on a football forum. bad move pdc
So can i just get this straight, we inform the insurance company regardless of any injury symptoms, although she has just come in saying her neck is stiff, she took a clout but the airbag didnt go off, she was putting her seatbelt on at the time The reason i ask is you hear all these adverts on the radio etc saying to ring them first, i dont want to register a claim if we dont need to
Whiplash claims are not the walk over they used to be and the consequences of being found to have made or attempting to make a fraudulent claim will result in very few insurers touching you with a barge pole as well as you getting a criminal record to boot.
They're at fault, claim of their company insurance. She'll only wants to sort it out privately so she doesn't get in trouble with her work. If your insurance isn't informed and you have another accident to which the previous accident then comes to light then they won't pay out. As soon as you inform your insurance they'll be straight onto the other drivers insurance on your behalf so you don't really have a choice.
Exactly. Insurance companies are not stupid, they have departments that deal solely with customer who they think are making fraudulent claims and they use soon very good techniques to find you out. It's not worth it mate. As already mentioned if you get found out, your insurance ( if you can get any) will go sky high and you might also be lumbered with a criminal offence.
****ing joke this, rang the claims line straight onto a firm of solicitors, now getting passed to somebody else for repairs and have bern given a different number to inform my insurer, and i have now apparently given my verbal permission for them to handle any injury claim which i didnt give btw
It is people who are cheating the system like this that are costing us all a fortune..It is just as low as burgling someone's house in my opinion..
1 hour now and all they are bothered about is what they can claim for, we just want the car fixing, its a councillors car so they are rubbing their hands, its quite embarassing really
