What do you guys think about Frimpong from Arsenal? Could be a cheap loan option to strengthen the midfield. I haven't seen that much of him, but I know that he's not afraid to "get stuck in" Instead of a geezer like Cattermole, who feels more like a dirty player than raw (Frimpong)
Football Agent Jim ‏@AgentJim_ 2m #Celtic striker Gary Hooper has told the club he wants to move to the premier league #CFC
Mate at work claimed that Celtic have agreed a £5.5million transfer fee from us for him and they're discussing personal terms. Don't take it seriously though, he's only ever got the Stephen Quinn one right so far... EDIT: Same guy has also just Emailed me saying we're in for Brentford Goalkeeper Simon Moore, 23 as back up and in an Eldin Jakupovic + Cash deal. He's looked good when I've seen him and would be a useful Number 2 (presumably behind McGregor). He'd probably be our Cup GK.
We need to hijack swansea's move for Bony of Vitesse. Pay £12million. He will score 20 goals in an injury free season guaranteed
LOL on twitter about 2 weeks ago someone asked me if HCAFC could spend big on one player who would you buy, I replied with Bony, scored 30 in 27 games last season
If this isn't the words of a manager preparing his clubs fans for the news that they are about to lose their best player, I don't know what is!! Thing is, will he be coming to us? Burnley boss Sean Dyche has rubbished reports suggesting the club have agreed to sell Charlie Austin to Hull City. Speculation has surfaced claiming that the Tigers have turned their attention to Austin in their pursuit of attacking talent. Steve Bruce is readying Hull for a return to the Premier League and is looking to bring a proven marksman into his ranks. He was said to have struck a deal with Burnley for Austin, who has been linked with a step up into the top flight for some time. Dyche is, however, adamant that no sale has been sanctioned and that Austin remains very much part of his plans. He said in the Burnley Express: "There's been no agreement reached. "The noises are just the same because there's people hovering and clubs interested, but nothing is appropriate for us at this time so he's getting on with pre-season for us. "There's no reason to think any different until it becomes any different. He's fine, he's in good shape, listening to what we think is appropriate and he's enjoyed himself since coming back for pre-season." Dyche added on a man who netted 28 times in all competitions last season: "We want to keep the best players at the club, but there is that reality with the financial situation that we have to work within. "We're just monitoring it as it unfolds. We want good players in the building and we want to work with good players."
As he polishes the bonnet and says, 'I'll throw in a full tank and the rug', come on, shake! But is it us?
