All good Shako, i work monday to thursday so thats when i mainly chip in on here, rest of the week i'm quite busy, i have my moments when i'm on here a fair bit but need a bit of football going on to get me on a bit more. As it turns out i'm in London from the thursday before the Millwall v Leeds game and i've already told the Mrs i'll be going to the game(she wants to go back saturday morning) so you can bet your life this game will be switched to the sunday or monday night. Hows the Elvis tribute shows going on?
Good to hear you're busy. I've a Rockabilly weekend in Waterford in Aug, the next day Leeds are on the telly, can't get better than that. Ale, Rock n Roll and the mighty whites... I checked Gatwick and you're right, approx 37 mins to new cross gate via croyden, plenty of time to catch flight.
East Croydon to Gatwick is fast direct to Gatwick in only about 16/18 mins, Mrs Millwallsteve & me go that way for our holiday and have gone that way for years mate.
Cheers Stevo....I'll just have to wait see if the day or kick off is changed. Googled the Hobgolin, right across from the station. 25 min walk to the ground, 35 for my little legs...
Don't know where they got 25 minutes from Shako, 15 to 20 more like. The Hobgoblin used to be known as the Rose Inn and was the first pub i used to drink in when i went to Millwall at the Real Den, i remember celebrating my 18th birthday there in 1983, i also remember the landlord(Harry) pulling me to one side and saying "Oi!! Stuart you little bastard you've been drinking here for 3 bloody years!!"
RAF regiment...not bright enough to fly a plane... that was for the officers. FFS I'm only 8 yrs older ...
OH FFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.newsatden.co.uk/23532-millwall-in-talks-with-leeds-united-over-morison-loan-return.html I said the other day I have a horrible feeling that it will happen and I'm right!
Laugh them off then geet! http://www.newsatden.co.uk/23532-millwall-in-talks-with-leeds-united-over-morison-loan-return.html
Thats right we are having a laugh...........why pay a million when you send him to us on loan......... So lets take a closer looker at this deal........... we sell Moro for 2.1 M to Norwich, and get him back playing with us for a fee of NISH..... you swap your beloved Becchio for Moro and then beg Millwall to take him off your hands for a season, because you cannot afford to keep him...... I suppose that is the way that you think that BIG clubs operate...........whereas us Wallies think (we don't think - we know) that you do not know what the **** you are doing....... Poor little Millwall helping the Weeds Camel Shaggers balance their books........ BIG club..........you're having a giraffe.............just like Chairman Bates
