Ambrose is definitely not a centre half and 100% not a right-back. Be worth giving him a few games in the midfield to see how he does.

I would only sell him if the club got decent money and had a replacement lined-up

I think he will thrive if moved upfield a bit.....mark my words ye of little faith <grr>

He will need to lay off the jazz woodbines right enough.

That article says he's 24 years old. **** looks like Morgan Freeman has been in at the Just for Men.

I've only watched bits of the ConFed but he's looked okay in the bits I've seen. Put in some decent crosses against Spain. Definitely better going forward than defending.

I think midfield would suit him, he was good at the AFCON earlier in the year and his form only really slumped badly after the first Juve game (Which Lennon ****ed up by playing him in the first place)

I missed the Spain/Nigeria game but he was pretty poor in the Uruguay one.

He played midfield for us in one of the last games of the season and he made Cascarino look accomplished by comparison.

    Keep him at CB

I've heard of comic exaggeration but surely you've taken that too far?

He needs to improve his positional awareness and he should sing Love Really Hurts to the crowd before every home game.

His debut for Celtic last season was in midfield and played well , mind you he was keen to impress all before the African nation cup , when he came back thinking he was a superstar
