You do realise people will interpret this as 'we are announcing a signing tomorrow' - what have you done?!

 

You've already built my hopes up! 'Interesting' unequivocally means we're announcing the triple signing of Wanyama, Banega and Lamela.

 

Well, I warned them not to. Could be interesting just in terms of looking at the response to the new kits.

 

Mr C.Womble on Twitter isn't taking a huge risk. There's a chance we could have signed Stoch. If so, he looks ITK. If not, he'll likely come up with some spurious excuse as to why it hasn't happened. He's pulled three names that have been banded about from the hat, and if one of them comes off (as is likely) he'll crow about how he told us for all time.......

 

I find it hard to believe that sfcgossip account. He blocked me because I asked why he was tweeting the same updates as the OS was within seconds by using copy and paste. I said that people would've already seen that and it was all quite a pointless exercise putting it straight onto his own tweets. No loss.

 

He's a blagger. Pure and simple.

I would hazard a guess that you're right CBK. All the Saints News or whatever accounts seem to be like this.

I don't know why they do it. You get all the news from @SouthamptonFC and then get rumours etc picked up on by journalists and other fans.

 

Something that I also fail to understand is the appeal of the pathetic fan accounts, like lukeshawfans and jayrodfans.

jayrodfan isn't even a fan account, it's just hartysaintsboy or whatever his name is being a dickhead.

I have seen the videos but if we were to sign Miroslav Stoch, what kind of signing will he be in terms of like would he be good enough for our ambitions in aiming for top 6?

 

Hard to say because he's not played much. I'd guess (though could easily proven wrong) he'd be a squad player rather than a long-term projected staple of the team.
